THE CREATOR
Nathalie ROSSEL was born in 1982 and discovered her creative side at a young age. Drawings and paintings she created at the age of six are on display in her home. As a teenager, she experimented with collages made from magazine clippings, photographs, and postcards, and developed an appreciation for jewelry through the designs created by her mother and maternal grandmother.
She uses her black pencil to sketch rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. She created her brand, un chic fou, in 2011 and continues to craft her collections in that same spirit. She draws inspiration from the images of everyday life and her encounters.
She wants to whisper a rhyme that each person can make their own as part of their personal history, because the piece of jewelry will evoke a moment, a feeling, or an emotion.
THE EXPERTISE
Nathalie Rossel draws on the best local expertise to bring her creations to life. Each piece is hand-drawn with a black pencil before being produced in a local factory.
The extreme attention to detail shown by jewelers in the Lake Geneva region is essential to successfully capturing the delicacy of the design.
The solid 925/1000 silver is rhodium-plated to enhance its resistance to oxidation and give it a finish similar to platinum. The brass is platedwith 18-karat fine gold at a thickness of 5 microns for optimal durability.
